Deeksha is an ancient phenomenon through which spiritual (or subtle electrical) energy (aka grace) is transferred from one human being to another. In the past, this was a rare event usually only granted by a spiritual master to a long-dedicated devotee. What makes Oneness Deeksha unique is that the founders of Oneness University, Sri AmmaBhagavan, found a way to make it possible for thousands of ordinary human beings to transfer this energy to each other, after taking a brief transformative course and receiving an initiation as a Oneness Blessing giver.
Here is the beautiful story of this breakthrough in Deeksha as it was originally revealed to the western world. Enjoy!

It was written specifically as a fund raiser for Puerto Rico's victims of Hurricanes Maria & Irma, by Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of Hamilton, the hit Broadway show. He was joined in the studio by many of the most popular Latino/Latina recording artists in the USA, including J-Lo, Gloria Estefan, Marc Anthony and many more.
Note: The title comes from the chorus of "Maria", from the famous musical West Side Story.

A single individual is enough for hope to exist, and that individual can be you, says His Holiness Pope Francis in this searing TED Talk delivered directly from Vatican City for the Vancouver TED Conference on April 25, 2017. In a hopeful message to people of all faiths, to those who have power as well as those who don't, the spiritual leader provides illuminating commentary on the world as we currently find it and calls for equality, solidarity and tenderness to prevail. "Let us help each other, all together, to remember that the 'other' is not a statistic, or a number," he says. "We all need each other."

Question: Bhagavan, why do we suffer from fear and how do we get rid of it?
SRI BHAGAVAN: Fear is at the core of human existence. It acts as a stimulus for all other emotions. Nature or the Universe has designed fear to ensure physical survival. The lower brain or the reptilian brain is responsible for producing a fight or flight reaction, whenever physical survival is endangered. As civilizations grew and societies advanced, people’s lives became secure. Threat for physical survival diminished. The focus thereafter turned to the psychological sphere. Mind, with a strong sense of individual identity, then emerged, creating this territoriality and division as the “Me” and “Not me”....
There's a video of the grand opening of the Oneness Temple in which Nahuel Schajris (a famous Latin American singer) performs John Lennon's song Imagine, while Sri Bhagavan looks on in great joy. The lyrics, about the world living as One, could be said to be at the heart of the Oneness Phenomenon.
Today, as Americans and Europeans are facing fears that some would use to divide us up according to country and religion, here is another rendition of this famous song. It was sung some years ago by a young man whose adoptive mother brought him to Australia as a refugee. A very compelling story and a beautiful performance. Afterward, he received a thank you from Yoko Ono, who told Emmanuel that John Lennon would be proud of him. Enjoy...
